The application will be good for as long as it takes to fulfill the applicant’s choices with the exception of the following instances:
- If the applicant does not have contact with The Village for a period of three years and we have not been able to contact the applicant based on their application, then the application will be considered abandoned. If the applicant wishes to re-apply, a new application must be submitted with the applicable application fee.
- The Village makes every effort possible to regularly contact individuals on the waiting lists and keep their information up to date. If The Village cannot contact an applicant after repeated attempts including attempts by mail, then The Village reserves the right to take that applicant off of the current lists. If this happens the applicant may request reinstatement if they contact us within one year from the date they were taken off of the list. After that time period, they may re-apply and pay the applicable application fee if they wish be on the list again.
- If there has been evidence that the application was misrepresented or falsified in any way, or that the representations made are no longer true, it becomes void.
