Proposed changes to the apartment must be approved in advance. Approval is not guaranteed. Apartments are designed for the most universal acceptance. If approval for changes is granted, improvements must be paid for by the resident and performed by an approved contractor. All changes must meet local codes and requirements.
Any changes in landscaping must also be pre-approved.
The Village reserves the right to charge the resident who wishes to make changes not only for the costs of the change but also for the cost of re-instating the apartment or landscaping to its original condition.
